Poll: Which '58 (1/24/2022)

Impala. My first car was a '58 Impala convertible purchased in June 1964 for $500.00. Leaked oil, top leaked, almost bald tires, power steering leaked, six automatic but I was thrilled. My father and I painted it in a friend's garage.

Allan, Your story of your Impala being a six reminds me of an incidence that happened to me several years ago. I was at a show when this man approached me and told me he had a 64 Impala SS he wanted to sell. After telling me all about the car he ended the description by saying it was a six. I immediately wrote him off as I had never heard of such a car...turns out a friend of mine went to look at the car and bought it. The car had less than 12,000 miles and was/is in absolute mint condition.
