Pontiac, Oldsmobile,  Chevrolet,  tie for last Cadillac & Buick  But I really don't care for any of them.  '53 give me Mercury or Hudson please.

I like it better without the bumperettes/bumper guards or cross piece, would have prefered chrome though.

Your pic of a '53 reminded me of the difference between the American and Canadian Pontiac rear ends for 1954.  I'm probably biased or maybe it's just a result of the familiarity of what I grew up with, but I do prefer the Canadian version.  Both are really nice cars though.

They are all such good-looking cars at a real high point in the GM/Harley Earl era. My Dad had a 1953 Chevrolet, but I like all of them.

Yeah, in Canada from the late 40s through 1954 Pontiac used the same or very similar tail lights and rear quarters as Chevy.  No doubt this seems very odd to Americans, but it's what I grew up seeing so it looks correct to me.

I always enjoy seeing the variations.

My fave of the 1953 GM lineup is, of course, Cadillac, particularly the Eldorado, for which I am named. 😆
