What the heck was that ? I thought you meant PSA the now defunct airline.... ????  If I remember correctly they advertised it as the "proud bird with the golden tail".

PSA is a "Public Service Announcement." Apparently, there was a whole series of them in the UK in the sixties and seventies similar in tone to this one. Keep your eye peeled for more! Meanwhile, don't boil water on a boat!

I think these warnings were often put out on recommendations of the coroner after a mishap.

Exactly what I was thinking as well JayBee.  This is why pirates always chose rum over a cuppa.

I had two friends that almost died that way. They were lucky but still found themselves in hot water.   🙄 🙄 😀

@john-barry

JB, the topic is completely open for interpretation, the "PSA" abbreviation stands for more than 50 different things.

Spoiler
PSA made PSA that PSA is no longer recommended prior to DRE.
Professional Standards Authority made Public Service Announcement that Prostate-specific Antigen is no longer recommended prior to digital rectal exam. I just learned a ne medical abbreviation, DRE, as well as all the "PSA"'s. One of the best thing about this forum is leaning a new thing everyday.
