Both doors should be “suicide”…???

Just a guess. Did this Cadillac originally have dual exhaust pipes? (later) That's not it. I checked pictures of similar Cadillacs and found the duals were common, most likely standard. I also wondered if they all had chrome air circulation vent doors on the sides of the hood, but pictures show some did and some didn't. Perhaps this was a mark of different series? I can find very little consistence in door handle placement, as there is a lot of variation. Some phaetons have 4 doors hinged at the front, some have 4 hinged at the rear, and some have one of each. I wonder if this is because body builders chose. I think most of the V16s, or at least a lot of them, had bodies by a variety of builders.
Okay, Chav, you stumped me. Now tell me you just swapped hood ornaments.
David, great investigation and research, it is fun to check on all these pictures and see the variations, isn't it? I do it all the time and always find new details and new color schemes? However, there is nothing changed in the car itself, it is fine example of a common coach work that Franklin Mint replicated in their 1932 phaeton. I modified the picture in its entity, didn't touch the details. Here is one of my pictures I compared it with.
There is a detail that FM missed, and it is a clue to my puzzle ... look at the license plates ...
So Chav, you are saying the only difference is that the license plate holder is missing from the models?
John, I was giving clues to "what's wrong" with the picture of the 1:1 light green Cadillac, by pointing to the rear license plate, which FM missed to replicate. And the answer is more boring than everybody thought. The image is flipped. The license plate is seen on the other side of the car (right side), it is supposed to be on the left side (or towards the viewer). I originally flipped the image so I can compare it with a preexisting picture of the FM model (I was comparing the bonnet of the model and the 1:1 car).
Here is the original version:
Now, the rear license plate is seen on the correct left side of the car.
