From 1923 until World War II stopped production, Sun Rubber Company of Barberton, Ohio, made rubber toys for the dime stores of America and even abroad. Yes, Sun Rubber resumed production after the war finally ended.  But among their many, many different products, two little vehicles from the late 1930's stand out for me.  But I don't think they were based on "the real things."  So I am turning to the "Lounging automotive experts" for any ideas.  What do you think?

Okay, I know they're a little worn, but after more than 80 years, we all are (or will be).  Here's more:

Very cool models ! The silver vehicle look a bit like a cross between a Stout Scarab and the front of an Airflow.

I do not believe the first one is a Chrysler.  I seen this before, but cannot for the life of me remember what it was called.  As for the second one, I think it is a Talbot-Lago.

Interesting, John.  Here's a picture of a Talbot-Lago, 1937.  And I'm just about convinced that it's the Stout Scarab with a changed front end appearance.
