@sizedoesmatter ...well, they made up in The Godfather III. You'll recall they spent a lovely day together before that tragic night at the opera. Time heals all wounds - almost always. Being 100% Italian, I can tell you that Sicilian Alzheimer's is worse - you only remember the grudges. 😏 😏
Chris, I don't recall that...since I'm 100 percent Sicilian I only remember the bad stuff...@sizedoesmatter ...well, they made up in The Godfather III. The times I saw her interviewed I found her refreshing, no conceit, phoniness, inflated sense of self....somewhat of a rarity in her field.
Yes, her character did reconcile with Pacino's character in Godfather III, for the sake of their son's upcoming operatic performance in Italy. In real life, she and Pacino were an item during the time of filming the trilogy.
Loved her in that role; she was very convincing in it. Also loved her in Something's Gotta Give with Jack Nicholson. R.I.P. Diane!
A great actress and always a pleasure to see on screen, some of her movie favorites of mine are the more recent, First Wive's Club and Something's Gotta Give.
