Thank you for the indirect compliment JK; the thread in question was pure gossamer in my unbiased opinion.

@john-barry Wow....I would respond with thanks JayBee, but I'm a little verklempt at the moment.
I'm inclined to agree. I mean, all joking apart, Tesla and their products have had a vast amount of publicity and even the least savvy or technically-minded amongst us knows their cars are all-electric. Whether these lassies owned the car or hired it, they would know or would have have been given instructions on what to do when it was running out of "juice". The video is a good laugh but yes, I think it was a prank.
Exactly!
- If either owned the car, then obviously they'd know better.
- If someone loaned them the car, you'd assume explicit instructions (repeated 10 times...LoL ) would be part of the favor.
- Again, anything is possible..... but IMO, this was staged.
Totally staged.
Note that the frunk is opened and then closed, they don't show you how they opened it nor closed it. To open it you have to click a button on the screen inside the car or a button on your tesla's phone app. To close it you have to use specific maneuver that requires knowledge of the car, you can't just drop it, it doesn't work. You cannot open the charging port door by pushing at the lower part of the door, you have to use your phone, car screen, or a button on the charging cable that obviously is not available at the gas station. The opening they want to pour gas through, at the end of the video, is for the windshield fluid and it is clearly marked. I believe both girls and the man shooting the video are involved in the prank.

Malcontents and Hoodwinkers .......the frunk opening lot of `em!!!!
Just drove my Tesla ... puts a smile on my face with every trip, a joyful daily driver.
@chav Thanks again for your insight. What better way to validate any claim, right? "Ask the man who owns one!"
The only Tesla I own is this one....
@chris I like Tesla S the most but it is so expensive, perhaps I should get in 1/18 too ...
