Lol, I remember several of my family's sets very similar to that monster. A 1952 Zenith and a 1959-1960 color RCA. They were pretty nice furniture and you could serve dinner for four on their tops !

Lol ! This is me sitting with my Dad in front of the family's Zenith b&w television in about 1954. The latest technology !

Luckily I gave our two heavy TVs to the Salvation Army while they were still popular. Today they wouldn't take them.

The new TV's are great but they can't be repaired in today's throw away society. I remember the TV repairman coming to our house a few times.
