John, that video was great fun! Thank you.

Being a fan/owner of convertibles, I noticed something @ 2:00 and particularly @ 2:10-2:12.....

At 2:00, note the Pontiac convertible driving up, then look (@ 2:11) at that boot. It's covering the entire back seat AND both rear quarter windows.

Wait! "WHAT?"

Pontiac NEVER (to my knowledge) produced a 2-seat convertible from 1951-1954. What's going on?

Is that some kind of large after-market boot that required extra molding snaps as it covered the ENTIRE rear seat?

CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS?   I would REALLY like to know.  Thanks in advance.

I can't find anything on it. But, I'm thinking it's an aftermarket tonneau tailored for sunny climes like Southern California.

Very possible, very possible. Actually, I own a MINT J.C. Whitney 1956 Catalogue; I should look it up. 🤔 🤔 🤔

Dayum JB,

Same here !  The soundtrack made my day !!!

I don't get it as most of the songs are just a bit before my time as I was 'evicted'...lol...in '53.

I love...love music / songs before then.

Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey...and on 'n on 'n on...

Steve
