As the years tick by I find myself increasingly appreciative of those soldiers who gave up their young lives so that we could live in freedom. Their supreme sacrifice has my eternal respect. We must never forget and it is our duty to ensure that younger generations are taught why they live in a free society.
@perrone1 l’m really messing up here, I keep accidentally deleting my posts, suffice it to say that my family has a long proud history of service, and for some, sacrifice to this great country. I was blessed to have come out unscathed, and am very grateful to all my fellow veterans and their families for their service.

Thanks for your service and for sharing the family history. (I wish that the delete and edit button were far separated!)
