The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note and posted on the apple tray: 'Take only ONE. God is watching.'

Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies.

A child had written a note, 'Take all you want. God is watching the apples.'

on that day,Young Luther had displayed a unique and admirable perception in declaring the cookies to be of free-use.......this non-conformist attitude served him well when, years later,he would form his own religion 🤔

Geez, and here I thought Luther Vandross was known and loved more for his music than for a  non-conformist attitude.

Abraham Lex Luther

Martin Luther

John Luther Vandross

these are the 3 Luthers we have to date.....try humming this tune "Abraham, Martin And John" quietly to yourself until you seize upon the one who started his own religion......Hint: although there are most likely church VANS in the aforementioned churches, the correct answer is NOT Luther VAN-dross

Maybe his Catholic school upbringing could have influenced an 'habitual' non-conformist attitude within him.

Perhaps the very young Luther had his knuckles severely rapped by a wooden ruler at times.

Jus saying ya know cuz I was sentenced...um..err..attended Catholic school.

I found out that Sister Mary Agatha didn't approve of being referred to as Sister Mary 'Oreo'.

Well jeez, it's not my fault that you're big, round and attired that way !

Wow, I was taught, at an early age, to secure a 5" knife to my left ankle. This way if anyone had approached me with bad intentions I could slide my foot quickly left and score first.
