Apparently, she passed peacefully at her home just 18 days before her 100th birthday.

Sad to hear.  She was the last of the Mary Tyler Moore Show main cast.  An icon for sure.

Such a shame but boy oh boy did she ever have a great life it seems.  She contributed so much in her craft.

Weird that People magazine would run an article about her turning 100 and then she passes a few days after it publishes.  Always enjoyed her antic's and humor going back to the 60's.

Almost like she thought it would be a humorous way to check out......

Lying in bed last night thinking about her passing and thought ,you know if there was another actress as sweet and lovable as Betty White it was Gracie Allen…
wouldn’t it have been something to see these two icons of television together on show similar toThe Golden Girls 🤔☺️

I wonder if St Olaf is having a special day of mourning.  They should for all the free publicity over the years. Not to take anything away from Oak Park where Betty was born. RIP Betty and thanks for all the years of laughter.

A class act both on and off the camera. Her work in behalf of animals will always make her special to me.

...just 18 days short. Betty was needed in Heaven to ring in the New Year.
