Our sympathies to her subjects. She was a great lady, one who led with dignity and honor, traits that have become rare in these days.

My words exactly John. An extraordinary woman her entire life. The rainbow that appeared over Buckingham Palace says it all...far better than I ever could.
A great leader who exemplified the greatest attributes a leader should have.
Retired in Dunedin, Florida.
here here! The lady exemplified what every great ruler should try to achieve
Queen Elizabeth II was the Britain, Canada and 12 other nations longest-serving monarch, having died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
Elizabeth reformed the monarchy for this less deferential age, engaging with the public through walkabouts, royal visits and attendance at public events.
In 1952 at her coronation, she rules an empire on which the sun never set. As this quickly disappeared, it was replaced by a Commonwealth of nations, connected originally to the British Empire but now independent. Other nations joined who were not connected to Britain's historic past.
Her commitment to the Commonwealth was a constant - she visited every Commonwealth country at least once. There are today 54 countries in the Commonwealth.
It is hard to imagine any other person being so successful in a lifetime dedicated to service of her people. She will be missed.
