Very frustrating day...went to WalMart grocery shopping...
asked one stocker, "where do you keep the canned peaches".
He responds, "I'll see," and walks away...doesn't show me, and never comes back...
so I asked another stocker the same.
He also responds, "I'll see"...and gets up and disappears.
Eventually, I walked all over that store...
finally found them in...

Oh dear, I'm afraid I didn't get that one at all. Obviously just caught me in a blind spot. I called my wife to have a look and she saw it straight away, muttered darkly about how living with the intellectually subnormal could be so very tiresome, and left me alone to wallow in shame and despair.

sorry for the whole bit about the pear thing Graeme......on the plus side though,Mrs Ogg seems nice 😐

@john-barry, peaches...it was peaches! And, Graeme's bride has much in common with mine! We both married beyond our pay grade.

The peaches are in aisle C.
Reminded me about my conversation with my son-in-law:
"What model Tesla did you buy?"
"Y"
"I am just asking?"
"Y"
Poor guy was getting frustrated, he maybe thought I didn't understand the question. And I am thinking the same thing ... He is going slowly:
"Whaat moodel iit iss??"
Then, I finally figured where the confusion was coming from. He didn't know what models Tesla makes ... and "Y" was "Why?" for him.
