"Hotel Yorba" is a riot! I went back to listen again just to catch all the lyrics. Well done in the spirit of Johnny Cash!! The resemblance is uncanny.

@jkuvakas ....."are they Irish?"......I don`t know John....most of what I viewed on-line seemed to be promotionally geared....just the fact that they shot "Hey Porter" in great Aunt Helene`s new condo, tells me not to risk too-close a look

hey John......in my  music searches yesterday,I came across some Ricky Lee Jones and found that she STILL performs....it seems like I`d just cleared High School when "Chuck E" first made it`s rounds

from `79

from `85

and here from `93

"In 2021, Jones released her memoir Last Chance Texaco: Chronicles of an American Troubadour. Her 15th studio album, Pieces of Treasure, was released in 2023 and earned Jones her eighth Grammy Award nomination, for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album.

Here's an ad I found for Cash Returns,

"JP & Karen aka 'Johnny and June'
'CASH RETURNS'
 - has been hailed hands down the greatest and most exciting Johnny Cash & June Carter Tribute in the UK, Ireland and beyond by Man In Black fans everywhere.

It is regarded as one of the best touring live music shows in the country with a fan base that grows daily with them having recently picked up 'Best Tribute Band' at the 'HOT COUNTRY TV AWARDS' and Best Tribute Show at the 2022 'Northern Ireland Country Music Awards', for the second year running.

The show is fronted by the award winning JP Mac as Johnny Cash, whose baritone voice and tone is scarily uncanny to the Man in Black's himself with even an official accolade of support coming from Johnny Cash's very own Drummer of near 40 years W.S (Fluke) Holland, who was completely blown away and regarded their tracks as 'quite amazing' on his radio show in Tennessee.

 'Fluke' Holland also added:

"IF ANYONE HEARS JP MAC THEY WILL KNOW WHY HE IS AN AWARD WINNING JOHNNY CASH ACT - I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THIS GUY PLAY IN PERSON"  (Click play on link below to listen to WS 'Fluke' Holland on JP )
JP is then joined on stage by Karen Martin as June Carter who brings all the vibrancy and onstage sassiness of June Carter complete with fantastic vocals.
Combined, JP and Karen along with their fantastic live band truly bring their audiences with them to a place and time when the iconic Cash & Carter reigned supreme and will in no doubt leave you singing and dancing along with them in the aisles and on the dance floors.

CASH RETURNS have been playing in festivals, hotels and theatres throughout all of Ireland, UK and Europe for the past 9 years, while also having appeared on various radio slots BBC, RTE 1 and national TV appearances, RTE, TG4 & NVTV.

The show is currently playing to sell out audiences all over the UK, Ireland and Europe. If you go along to one of their shows you will hear all the show stopping classics such as, 'Folsom Prison Blues', 'Get Rhythm', ' Walk the Line', 'Hurt' and of course the duo hit 'Jackson'.
While Cash Returns brings the classic sound of the Man In Black to todays audiences they have also had fantastic recent success by both creating new songs and covering other existing songs in the same iconic sound with their hit singles 'Hotel Yorba' , and 'The Highway Man Blues', that both made the Top Ten in the Irish Country Charts."

@john-barry, that woman just drips with her own unique style. She makes every cover she does her own. The phrasings on her original songs is amazing.
