Kind words Jack. Sometimes things click, sometimes they don’t. Thank you for your fine compliment. Your contributions to this website and respect from its members is something of which to be proud. I am pleased to ride along in your company.
Brush, you have an excellent and interesting collection and a problem that most of us at some time need to address. From your physical issues, it would seem that whatever you do, you need to address it with your collection as a whole. All the very best to you.
Am I wishing & dreaming?
No, but you've answered my question: What's more important, time or money? Finding any ONE collector who'd want all your models, even at give-away-prices, would be rare. To liquidate all at once, you're really down to a few options: Auction House, Estate Sale guys, Charity donation - let them sort it all out. GOOD LUCK to you sir!
I wish you all the very best in finding the process that works best Bruce. Choosing to make this Forum inquiry is wise. There is a lot of experience and expertise to draw from; plus you might just find the connection you need through one of our members.
Thanks for all the come backs gentleman. I tried to put a car back in it's box and broke off a exhaust tip and rt side mirror and screw drivers an I don't get along any more. So I would need someone to put the cars back in their boxes, someone to package them up and someone to carry them out of my basement. After some thought, even if I give them away, where would I find someone to come to the boon docks of New Hampshire and do all of that, almost if not impossible, so I give up and let it be somebody else's problem when I croke. I still like them anyway.!

I hate this for a 'good' fellow model hobbiest Bruce! For now, I think you have the right idea - look at them whenever you can, and smile. Enjoy them and the possible good memories I hope they ignite from the past. If at a later date you can advertise for someone you trust to do the things you wish, good, if not, take comfort in having them for as long as you did. God bless you pal!
