I have models that either no longer fitting my themes, or just do not interest me. With this being the case, those 25 ones are either going into storage or placed on ebay. Majority are 1/24 models as i thought i would grow to like them. I do but only in acrylic cases which take up too much space. Not willing to attach anymore to my office walls.
Just me ranting folks as I've already started the process.
With as much regret as I have had selling models that I now wish I hadn't, and hearing the same thing from many members here, I'd advise you to consider putting them back in the box and re-examining them at a later time - several months later, for example. If they don't give you a warm & fuzzy feeling at that time - sell them.
1/24th? Do you have a list of what you’re letting go?

I think it's fair to say that most collectors face crossroads. As Tony noted, hopefully your decisions NOW will never come back to haunt you. Years ago, I got out of building 1/25 models, 1/10 R/C cars, collecting radios, and building bicycles....just to name a few, but I have no regrets. Sadly, I can't say that about some of the 1:1 cars I've sold.
So....... choose wisely grasshopper!
I sold about 80 models this past year. I later regretted ONE that I sold. I ended up buying it back on Ebay in a more attractive colour at a lower price than I originally paid. There is always a silver lining.
Just laid them out in the basement while I ponder what to do...
