That thing she does right near the end, where the sax just whines in a high pitch; I've never heard anything like that before.Β

I thought she just had a little gas!Β

I have heard that before but, with sax, it is rare. I found this but unsure if it relates precisely to that incredible sound she makes:
Β
SaxophoneΒ altissimo is generally considered to be any note that is higher than written high Fβ―, which is considered the highest note in the saxophone's regular range. Altissimo is produced by the player using various voicing techniques such as air stream, tongue, throat andΒ embouchureΒ variations to disturb theΒ fundamentalΒ of a note, which results in one of the higherΒ overtonesΒ dominating.

Absolutely amazing!Β Who was the guitar player?Β She mentioned his name but I didn't catch it.
Please check again. I saw Ulco Bed as guitarist and there are more videos of them together. They ARE a fantastic pairing so THANKS for posting this. BTW, it's 4:35 PST at this moment and time for Espresso π
@100ford2003 I think you may be right Steve as I thought I heard her say something close to "Ulco" in her remarks to the audience at the conclusion...not positive though.
Dave originally record the tune with her. Not the terrific version posted. ππΈπβοΈ

@100ford2003, you are correct, Steve. Thanks for the heads up! Dulfer has played frequently with both.

I'm embarrassed to say that I knew nothing of either of them.Β They are truly amazing and it always blows me away how such talented artists can remember every note in unison; especially in such a long song.
