@jack-dodds That is about the same number of years for me. However, I no longer have it. The model was a 1949 or 1950 Ford painted as a US Army car.

I vividly recall being in the kitchen when my mother said, "Notice that second that just passed? We'll never have that second back, it's gone forever." Being 9 or 10, that was a profound statement; it really made me think....

Yes I have always been partial to it; although it's not to scale (longish nose and a bit wide) but it is a kid's toy after all. A later version came with spun wheels.
