It's looks a bit "staged" to me. At 0:04 it appears a Police vehicle drives right behind him. I'm just a tad incredulous. I'm sure someone must have additional info on this???

@chris It wouldn't surprise me if the cop parked and called it in to get additional units heading to the area, rather than try to chase this moron alone and endanger lives. Odds are pretty good the car is stolen.
