Kelly and I have come down with a mild case of COVID. I'm in my last day or so of isolation and have spent a lot of time in my home office over the last week. One of my little pleasures is this water decanter. If you know me, you know how much I love my coffee. But, I enjoy a great cup of tea as well. I love the ritual of brewing a basket of loose tea leaves well and find the whole process, including the flavor and aroma of a fine tea, to be relaxing and oddly satisfying. Kelly and I were gifted this hot water pot a few years ago. It holds 4 liters of water and will keep the water heated at one of several settings (ours is 185°f/85°c), always ready to pour over our tea leaves or whatever hot beverage we may have on hand. We fill it with distilled water, so there's no residue and no impact on the taste of the tea. It's a dispenser that is indispensable!

sorry to hear of your misfortune......the idea of brewing a hot drink from leaves seems a very comforting process.....
@john-barry, it is. But, one must be particular about the type of leaves with which one brews. For instance, the leaves of the South African Gingus Bush are irredeemably unsuitable.

Get well real soon. Ming and I also drink a lot of tea, many different types. Some come in tea bags, some do not.

Sorry about your Covid. I wish you both a speedy full recovery. I’m not a tea drinker but find your hot water pot interesting.
What brand it is? Cadillac?
John, Kelly... get well soon. Please don't spill any water on your 1/43 Chrysler Town & Country or 1957 Chevy! 😏
@chris, Oops! I better go wind the windows up!
