As seen Sunday at Cobble Beach Classic, Ontario, Canada.

1967 Ferguson Super Sport

Built from the Avro Arrow's ashes. This is an interesting one off. Read details below.

Just for a moment I thought this was meant to be in the "Patching up a Marriage" post! Ferguson was a well-known British brand of tractor.

But no, this is VERY different, and a truly fabulous piece of styling. So many backyard designers (and some independent carmakers, for that matter) tried to do their own interpretation of the "classic British sportscar" look and came up with some very awkward, ill-proportioned designs with clumsy detailing and amateurish fit and finish, but this is just terrific from all angles.

Nice article in the link.

It is a very interesting looking car for sure.  To my eye it combines styling cues of Corvette, Jaguar and even what might be called an updated Packard Hawk mouth.  The roof line is very unique as well but the wheels are a miss IMHO.  I'm not quite sure if I like it or not to be honest.

I love the design and color but not so much the wheels.
