"The Magic Roundabout"

Probably not the best place for those with acute circulaphobia. 🙄 🙄 😯 

Roundabout heaven! I could ride these all day.

I LOVE ROUNDABOUTS; A GREAT WAY TO MOVE TRAFFIC EFFICIENTLY.  THIS ONE WOULD BE INTIMIDATING THE FIRST FEW PASSES THROUGH, BUT IT SEEMS TO FLOW WELL.  MIND YOU IN MY TRIPS TO THE UK I MUST SAY THAT IMHO DRIVER SKILLS THERE ARE VASTLY SUPERIOR TO THOSE OF CANADIAN DRIVERS.  MY BROTHER-IN-LAW, WHO LIVED IN COOKHAM OUTSIDE OF LONDON FOR FIVE YEARS, SAID THE SAME THING.

@jack-dodds  I too scoffed at Roundabouts, dismissing them as, "Just plain stupid!"   

I often tell the story of how I was truly upset when I first drove through one. I was angry about it..... but the second time I drove through a Roundabout my disposition had completely reversed. 

I thought, "This is fantastic... I never really have to stop, great!"   Needless to say, I've been a fan ever since.

@chris  The two best advantages to roundabouts are that obviously they keep traffic moving which greatly reduces accident frequency and they also greatly reduce wait times at the traditionally busy junctions.  Rush hour traffic really proves this out.
