Gas is around $3.32 USD for the same size (US gallon) in Alberta today. Takes into consideration currency exchange rate and gallon size differences.
Torrance, California, Los Angeles county. We're getting killed here.
I've bought gas in my travels in the upstate of S.C. for as low as $3.06/gallon just recently.
@pete-rovero I feel for you Pete. The one thing I know for sure, is that I couldn't afford to live in California.
Ditto, Ontario, $168.9 per litre.
It's $1.32 per liter here in Alberta David. Certain provinces piling on their taxes as usual (B.C. in particular).
Last week when I filled up, it was $3.39/Gal. for regular at Costco in southern New Jersey.
I snapped this pic just the other day cuz my brother in New York didn't believe what the gas taxes were and then don't forget you gotta pile on your local County sales tax also.
That can range from anywhere from 9.75% to 10.00% here in our local counties.
I don't know where you live exactly but here they are required to post the taxes on each of the pumps.
I forgot to add that we have two different kinds of gas that we have here we have a summer blend and a winter blend
Looks like 235th/Maple & Crenshaw to me.
The Gov directed the winter blend to be used immediately to reduce the price for consumers.
