Now that I'm in Florida I wish they'd leave it standard time. But savings time is so much better for almost everywhere north of us that would be the right thing to do.
I remember being thrilled when I lived up north and DST would come. Yoo-hoo winter is over.

I know; right? And who was that young dummy who put three clocks so high that NOW this old man has to struggle to change them? Oops; guilty!

Have you considered...moving the clock?
Yes, twice a year; when we spring ahead and again when we fall back - LOL. It's best in the "Corvette Room" with all the 1/24th Corvettes but no other space seems more appropriate. Take a look:

I KNEW someone would suggest there. If you study pic #3, you can see more easily that the wall you suggest hanging it on, in pics #1 & 2, is angled. It would be harder to hang and read. Pics# 3 & 4 are too low for me. I may bellyache about changing the clocks but I spend more time here so I just need to shut the he** up and change it twice a year quietly. HA! Thanks guys!
Then clearly the solution would be to straighten that wall. You need to be featured on the HGTV show "Clock Hanging Challenge".
LOL! I love it. There was a time I might have been able to pull that off! HGTV is anchored here in the Knoxville, TN area. A few years ago we met and befriended the lady who is VP of HGTV and head of programming for home improvement segments of the show. We met at a mutual friends Christmas party and then again each year for several years. We later became kayaking friend with her and spouse.
To be honest, it's probably less painful to leave it there and carp about it. Dam clock! Ha! That felt pretty good.
@perrone1 Perhaps you might consider a small desktop clock, or, thinking outside the box, wear a wristwatch? 😎
If I'm awake and not mowing or doing manual labor, that Breitling, in photo one on the first page of this thread, is on my wrist. The main reason the offending clock is hanging is because it says Corvette and fits in the Corvette room. I default to my watch but occasionally look up to the clock. When I hung it there 23 years ago, it wasn't quite as hard to change the time twice a year like it now is. And for the life of me I can't figure out why.
