!962, you are 25 years old and you just came into some money and decided to buy a new [American] car for your everyday uses, what would be your top three choices in the order of the most desired.

Gentlemen pictures are great but not necessary, a list will do.  But I do like them.

My picks:

Oldsmobile

62 Oldsmobile Starfire 394 (12)
62 Oldsmobile Starfire 394 (4)

Chrysler

62 300 H (13)
62 300 H (12)

Ford

62 Galaxie copper Sunliner (6)
62 Galaxie copper 500 Ht

@perrone1 I LOVE the '62 Caddy and T-Bird as well Tony but I just keep my picks to the category everyday family cars with price tags that reflect that.  Otherwise for my brain there are just too many good choices...lol.

I Dont Know

Bob; many have commented that the clipped fins of the '62 Chrysler ruin its look but to me it's the opposite; I think it's a big improvement and of course a fresher look.  With that said, I must say that I love the '60 and '61 300's as well....just not quite as much.

Are you fluffin' kitten me, right meow?    LOL!

Bruce says, "..for your everyday uses." No one said 'family' - let them get their own hot wheels. And if I owned these three choices, you can bet your pimento cheese and mayo sandwich I'd drive them puppies every day. For all sorts of uses. Wink

I pick the beautiful Oldsmobile,  the sporty Impala and the graceful Pontiac.   Late at night I sneek out in my T-bird to fight crime.

@perrone1  Everyday use is right. If rich some drive luxury cars and some single sporty people drive 2 seaters. I don't personally care for luxury cars but I would have saved to buy and drove the '62 Chrysler 300.

No worries Tony, it's all good.  Here...put this Mayflower in your lapel, sit down and have a nice bowl of oatmeal....all is well.
