Cadillac by a country mile for me. Its styling is beautiful and IMHO the Lincoln looks coarse and bloated in comparison. I have always loved the '49 Merc and Ford but the front end of the Lincoln is extremely unattractive.

When the Cadillac really was the Standard of the World and the future was bright. A hit versus Lincoln's miss.

I am not a Cadillac fan. However the 49 is a great looking auto. It isn't over done like later ones
