This '32 Ford 3-window coupe, a reasonably presentable street rod in a color that I generally wouldn't like........

seemed to beckon to me for some changes, so I did some edits, just to see what they look like.

As found:

32 Ford Coupe Street Rod Hemi PSx (1)

A background cleanup to better show the car and subsequent changes:

Shaved the hinges and door lock, gave the hood more louvers and cleaned up the body:

Removed some of the top chop:

Reinstated the top chop, removed the rear nerf bar bumper, bobbed the rear fender:

32 Ford Coupe Street Rod Hemi PSx (5)

Bobbed the fender a bit more, reshaped the trunk line:

Removed the top chop, further bobbed the rear fender and removed the exhaust header/dump:

32 Ford Coupe Street Rod Hemi PSx (8b)

To my eye, the fender/bumper car looks more balanced with the higher top and the bobbed fender cars better support the chopped top.

What do you think?

Enjoy!

Subtle but extremely meaningful changes. My favorite is the one with the raised top (#4 pic). Second, and very close, favorite is the last photo (#7). Clean & mean!

@perrone1 After going back and forth several times, I agree that number four is my pick although any one would be welcome in my garage.

With or without changes; no fenders, no bumpers, no like.

@perrone1: Tony, I did a few additional edits and offer this final one for your viewing pleasure. It features a slightly greater chop and a significant sectioning. What do you think?

 Bob Jackman, any comments?

@tldaly It looks neat but I don't think I could into it with the top chopped to that degree. Your talent on the computer is impressive however.
