The PEA CAR. Commissioned by Birds Eye Peas Company.
The Pea Car was specifically commissioned for a TV commercial. It is, of course, custom build to certain predetermined specifications for the occasion. It was shaped like a pea as part of a marketing gimmick and partnership with Birds Eye Peas to advertise their product and promote healthy eating.
The chassis is constructed from a go-cart, the headlights from a VW beetle and the engine (yes it actually works) is from Honda.
My youngest granddaughter who just recently got her drivers permit told me tonight that this is the car she wants.

Reminds me of that Abbott & Costello joke, when they were naming off all the car makers, A: "What car starts with P?" C: "No car starts with P!"
I love peas and like this car very much. George, tell your granddaughter she has very good taste... auh, get it? "Taste" 😏 😏

LOL, I got it. And come to think of it, Lou Costello might be right if asked that question today. No American starts with "P" anymore, as Plymouth, Pontiac, Packard, and Pierce Arrow are gone.
