If we`d had internet capable devices instead of a rotary phone on a party line......we`d have  been Johnny-on-the-spot tracking down and acquiring Wiley Coyote`s Acme connection........unless it turned out to be a long distance call

Does no one remember using cherry bombs/silver salutes/firecrackers to blow stuff up?  Caps in rolls that could be made into bolt bombs? 

I remember smoking certain tree roots when I was 11 years old.

JB, how old were you the first time you were sent to reform school?

Hey !!!!!! Frank wrote that !!! not me !!!!..........when I smoked tree roots there were PLENTY of people around.....also,a fair amount of Goblins and wolves

*real story : as kids, we used the roots of wild sassafras trees to attempt to make "sarsaparilla".... like "Tenderfoot" used to order in those wild west saloons just before he`d be challenged to a gunfight*

I built a plastic model of the Arizona with a cherry bomb sticking out of each stack-  tied a string to it-  lit them off and pushed out into the river-  knocked me on my ass when they went off-

And this not the dumbest thing I ever did-  I was so bad my Mom and Dad had a bet if I would live until 30-  Dad bet no-
