Looks like millions of dollars in damage. Hopefully, some are repairable.

Sickening to see such beautiful machines ruined.  I hope Marty's order wasn't affected; I believe he has one coming.

Everyone's order is affected. Plant was shut down for at least two weeks plus, "GM plans to reach out to dealers who have orders in for the models that have been destroyed so they can resubmit orders. The plan is to prioritize those orders when production resumes." According to the article above.

@jack-dodds - My understanding is the tornado created an additional two week delay.

This is my status.  I have a deposit in for having the privilege of being in line to place the order for production which hasn't occurred yet.  At this point, I'm probably looking at next summer to take delivery. I was seriously thinking of transferring my deposit for the Z06 but I was told that there is a $25k premium and the waiting list is now at 5 years.  I'm gonna hafta pass on the Z.

@marty-johnson - I miss the good old days when I could walk through Kerbeck's new Corvette inventory lot, select the Vette of my dreams from at least 50 beauties, process some paperwork and be driving my new Vette home within a few hours.  Best yet, was the posted fixed discount price which was a reduction from the MSRP by thousands of dollars.

Much too much BS today....no plans to replace my tried-and-true Grand Sport.

@marty-johnson Good grief.....the Z06 issue is quite ridiculous; I see why you would pass on that order!  I didn't realize your wait time was so significant.  So I guess that means that any Vettes seen at dealerships are demonstrators or sold and awaiting  pick up?

@jack-dodds - No dealer that I'm aware of has a C8 demonstrator. What you see in the lot is awaiting pickup by the owner or his/her transportation company for out-of-town delivery.

@sizedoesmatter   Amazing!  It must be so frustrating for sales staff and dealership owners to see sales and profits limited by production/delivery issues.

@jack-dodds - What adds to the frustration, especially for the smaller volume dealers, are the factory allocations which are determined by prior year sales. A dealer may have 20 customers wanting to order new Corvettes, but the factory will only allow the dealer 5 new ones. Many of the smaller dealers will add a premium to the MSRP which could add $20K or more to the MSRP sticker. Buying a new Corvette today is not for the faint of heart.

@jack-dodds - John Bono is correct.  No demonstration cars.  If they're on the lot they either sold or the person that ordered canceled before pickup.  Those are for sale but with a premium as well.  Usually between $25k and $30k.  My dealer will sell the Stingray at MSRP as long as the buyer gets in line to take delivery 12 to 18 months later.  I'm getting mine on that basis.  There is NO WAY I'll pay ANY premium.  I don't want the car that badly.

@sizedoesmatter - I totally understand.  I must admit, my C7 is still looking good to me.  I've been questioning if it's all worth it.
