Easy for you to say. 😉 High powered diesels in a sports car chassis are very interesting.
PIC: Those are some pretty impressive numbers. 700 ft.lbs. of torque is massive!

John, I bought mine new and
I bought the programmer to boost extra HP. The unit allowed a choice of adding 50, 70 or 90HP.
I must say, the 90HP adder was hard on the tires and it was way more than I would ever need.
But it shore felt good do the zero to 75 in a very short time.
I had never heard of the Trident until today and just thought it to be different.
I can't seem to find any info on how much this car weighs.

Where did you get the programmer, Jerry? Was it factory or after-market?

John, it was an after market hand held plug-in from a little speed shop next door to my Farmers Insurance man.
Once plugged in, you choose the amount of HP to add and enter the circumference of the tires and enter.
The unit would change the factory settings to your new desired setting.
This was easily reversed when done.
I pulled my '64 Galaxie 500 about 60 miles to a friends house and it was hardly noticicable behind the truck.
I do not remember the brand though.
I do remember that the '02 and the '04 Duramax required a different device to cahnge the settings.
If you need the info, I have the number for the young man who bought my Chevy.
Thanks, Jerry. IMy altima has something similar but I haven't been able to identify the maker.
I bought the car used and all my garage can tell me is that my computer has been reset for higher HP. I've been trying to get in touch with the previous owner, but he's a hard guy to nail down.
What a day we live in..."soft" horsepower that comes, not from mechanical alterations, but electronic!

John, Current Curb Weight for an Altima 4 door is 3238 yours is probably close. Curb is w/ Fluids &
10 gallons of Gasoline. The gas would be around 73-74 Lbs. So look at how much gas is in it for a closer figure. That is the factory advertised weight for a 2014 4 door sedan. Yours is within a Hundred pounds and will be heavier than this years edition. We have a 2011 Coupe I ran it over the scales and it was just 3117. Our truck weight stations leave the scale on after closing so we can check weight or more for the truckers. anyway hope this helps.
