This design was a big seller in Finland back in the day.
@perrone1 Yes...sad to say he likely hit bottom as a result.
I wonder if this was the prototype operated by David Hedison and Richard Basehart?

It bears a small resemblance to the "Seaview" but it appears, to my maritime eye, to have faulty seagoing credentials. In fact, I would predict that if it took to the ocean's, it would, no doubt, take a 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea'!!!
@perrone1 For deep going you need a Mercedes BENZ.
@bob-jackman If you surface too quickly you will get the Benz.
LOL Bob & Jack. I get it. But, hey, at my age it's harder and harder to get way down to get in and harder to get out of my SL so you can say that I AM getting the bends!
Yeah, To get into and out of the Benz, takes a lot of bending. And at my tender age, benzing, ah, I mean bending, gets more and more difficult. And if I get out of the Benz too fast, I get the Bends. I need a Bend Aid.@perrone1 I get what you mean.....I think. Lol.
It has three ride heights. On the highest setting, it still requires a gymnast to exit!
