I never realized that "Leave it to Beaver" showcased so many cars on the show.

What a great retrospective of all these very cool automobiles ! You rarely realize at the time what you are seeing.

I think the car company sponsorship of this show went from Ford to Chryco in 1958.  Awesome showcase of period cars; I sure miss them.

I'm guessing you're right on the sponsorship thing.  I remember programs in the 50's and 60's that would have the car companies listed in the closing credits on shows.

I watched Beverly Hillbillies for the cool Mopars, Andy Griffith for the Fords and Adam 12 for the 60s and 70s.

Really liked this a lot! A time of innocents.  I remember as a six year old me turning to my dad and saying there is our car. The 1963 Fury.  My dad’s uncle owned a Plymouth, Chrysler, Desoto, International dealership. So many of those Mopars floated around my home town.  Just an aside I remember crying when we left our 1958 fury on the lot when we took home the 63.  But the 63 was the car I really learned to drive in the alleys at 14. It was on its last legs. Took my test in a 72 Satellite.

@georgeschire I recall one show from many years ago where Ward Cleaver's car was a '57 Ford Fairlane.
