Yeah, I sold mine for way more than that.  It was a beautiful model but outside my collecting interests.  I bought it because it was the end of DM new models.

@whodeytink I certainly understand going outside your collecting interests as I’ve limited my models from 1930 to 1959. These are my personal favorites probably because they include the cars I grew up with and the fact that I love the I930s styling. If I were to pick the most beautiful automobile, no matter the era, it would have to be the 1935 Ford 3-window Coupe. In my humble opinion, the DM replica is as close to perfect as humanly possible, absolutely spot on. Even without the facts that it is a low production model, and Danbury’s last, I couldn’t give it up. Yeah, I kinda like it!
