Great memories! My dad had that exact car.

I really enjoyed this; thanks. It reminded me of what a great styling era it was. The Caprice coupe would be a nice one for Goldvarg to do in 1:43.
Thanks, fun to see since I have a 66 Caprice Custom 9-passenger wagon.

This wagon would also be a great one for Goldvarg to do; especially with the wood grain effect.
Bruce;
I like the '66 Impala (and Caprice) but much prefer the grille and tail lights of the'65. I agree with you about the other two shown. The beautiful '66 Ford with that gorgeous roof line and especially in 7L form. The Coronet stance and design looks very aggressive....which it was!

My aggressive '66 Coronet 440. First decent hot rod, 383 cu in, 325 hp, 4 speed, 3:23 sure grip. Medium green/black interior. 15.05 in the quarter, 12 mpg average[but I got on it a lot, guzzle].
@pete-rovero - Pete, of course, it's up to you, but when you get a chance, please repost pics of your '66 wagon.

@pete-rovero - Pete, a great pair, thanks for posting. The "wood grain" makes the paint color pop. Love the interior too. Which engine powering the wagon?

great thread great video......thanks John
Thank you, John. Base 195 hp 283cid with a Powerglide. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. I also upgraded to power front disc brakes with dual master cylinder for safety reasons.
