Take you way down memory lane.
David, I don't go back that far, but I remember those stations from the 60's/70's as my dad owned one. It was an American station when he bought it, but he changed over to Gulf until he sold it. This was in New York, in the late 60's early 70's before we moved to the south. Enjoyed the shots and the music.
David, nice pictures. I remember gas stations and car dealerships starting in late 1950s. A few of these remind me of them.

Thanks, David. You've taken me back to some good years and good times. Nice to see a Model A truck parked across the street in one picture that is still working. Great!
I really enjoyed this clip. I worked in a Texaco, Shell and a private service station as a young fella and absolutely loved it. I was given the opportunity to go from pump jockey to servicing, tire repair and then onto minor repairs; a great learning experience. I still vividly recall the sounds and smells of service stations and many of my experiences working in them. It was a great time for a young guy and viewing this clip sure put a smile on my face. It also reminded me of just how much I miss them compared to what we have to put up with these days.
That was fun. Even had Johnny's actual car in the video, LOL.
Jack, I too worked in a Texaco station and it was quite the learning experience. Great memories. Thanks David.
Please, someone tell me in what state can I locate that Time Machine? I will buy a one-way ticket immediately. Thank you.
