I just saw this on FB:
"...1971 and 2024 are as far apart as 1971 and 1918."

53 years. You're right; it seems like an eternity when you glance at 1918 and 2024. For comparison sake use your own birth date and your age to go back. It's even scarier. Example. I was born 1947. 77 years takes the numbers back to 1870!! So the equation becomes "1947 and 2024 are as far apart as 1947 and 1870."

77 years takes the numbers back to 1870!
Well, that's one interpretation but I say, no, no, no..... look at it this way Tony: You're 77 in 1971, therefore (going backwards ) you would've been born in 1894. You feel better, right? 🤔 🤔 🤔

Ugh! I'm going back to bed!
Careful. That might mean climbing out of bed twice in one day. Bit of a strain on the system. Might be better to just close your eyes and ignore The Lounge for a while until this posts sinks out of sight.
