Way to go, Marco! Andretti is on the pole for the Indy 500, just a tad faster than Scott Dixon. Two great competitors on the front row. The only downside is that there was no crowd there to recognize and acknowledge Marco's performance, although the other drivers, including Dixon, did.
Sure hope he can win next Sunday and end the Andretti curse.

Mario ended the curse in 1969 didn't he?

The curse was that he was never able to do it again, Michael was never able to win it although he's led more laps in front than anyone else, and that Marco was in the lead (as a rookie, I think) only to lose it in the last few hundred yards.
Mario's win in '69 is the only time one of the family has won, and that includes John and Jeff too. Pretty powerful curse!
