No one was ever more grateful than Fred when it came to getting a thanksgiving dinner invitation at the Skilwaskis house.
Last year, when he’d accidentally eaten little Fluffy, the family had been very gracious and understanding. “Accidents happen” Fran had remarked, But Fred knew she had been upset.
He was so relieved when he found his invitation for this year’s festivities. When he got to the house and prepared to ring the doorbell, he vowed to be on his very BEST behavior. And then he wondered who they’d let him eat this year

Fred is casting an eye about; wondering if he has the appetite for the 7 course meal available to him plus turkey for dessert. He is happy that he brought along a supply of Chianti and fava beans in preparation for such a gracious offering.
