Yep! That's it. GM took over the Renaissance Center years ago. That Detroit waterfront/river walk is great. I had the opportunity to see it several years ago. You took some nice pics Chav. It's funny... a friend of mine was there last week...  taking about the same pics! Too funny. 😀 😆Â
Nice pics Chav ! Thanks for posting them.
Steve
I thank you for your good post, Chav. Â
A beautiful facility. I like that they change the dosplays from time to time.Â

Fantastic looking facility, and wouldn’t I love to have a model of that silver grey 50s Cadillac !🤪🤪
Nice surprise to see the Astro Vette still exists. Saw it at the Chicago Auto Show way back when. Built a model of it too.
Again, nice pics Chav. There are no places on EARTH like the Henery Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
@chris I took over 100 pics (90% Fords were displayed), for first time I used my iPhone instead of SRL camera and the pictures came better than expected. All moving cars I shot with "live" pictures, and they are all moving and roaring on the iPhone, only the smell is missing ... wish I can post "live" pics here.Â
Also, lately I discovered Edsel Ford's house where the Edsel Speedster was displayed (pics coming). Next week is the concours D'Elegance that they are moving from St.John (Plymouth, 20 min from Ann Arbor) to Detroit Institute of Arts (I was not happy about it, and still debating if I should go).

fabulous series of photos Chav, thanks. What strikes me, apart from appreciation of the sheer beauty of the cars is the variety of colors. Never see that these days.
