I agree with you about both the real car back in 1961 and the model from Buz. My model is the bronze convertible-open, and it is a favorite.

Never used to care much for the '62 Plymouth/ Belvedere/ Savoy styling -- now i actually like the proportions and even [gasp] the lines.

For me the true Mopar warthogs from 1962 then and now are anything from Dodge or De Soto.  All from the same corp. that gave us the magnificent 1962 Imperial.
