Same song which is your personal preference:

1.

2.

3.

4.

They are all beautiful!

My order; 1, 3, 2, 4

The phrase "hallelujah" translates to "praise Jah/Yah", though it carries a deeper meaning as the word halel in Hebrew means a joyous praise in song, to boast in God. The second part, Yah, is a shortened form of YHWH, and is a shortened form of his name "God, Jah, or Jehovah".

Generally speaking, an original song is usually better than a cover. That's because if you like an original piece, it becomes your 'standard' and most familiar version. If a cover is better, it is due to its being very very good.

For me, the 'original' or most familiar, is by Josh Groban. But Lucy Thomas' voice has long been a favorite of mine, so that would be my favorite pick.

Really don't care for this version.

#2 Leonard Cohan wrote it.

NONE. K.D. Lang's version knocks it out of the park.

I’ve been a Leonard Cohn fan from the late 60s.  👍

Interesting article about Leonard writing it and getting it released.

Very nice, it would be third on my list.

1. Lucy Thomas

2. Gregorian

3. K.D.Lang

4. Leonard Cohen

5. Pentatonix

6. Josh Groban
