Congrats! That's pretty decent. I have no accurate count and would have to go all around the house to count them. I'd say, unofficially, about 7 to 9. Three, for sure were 1/43rds, two were 1/24th and the rest were 1/18th I'm thinking.

I bought nine 1/43 scale cars and sold a few of my existing ones. I bought four 1/64 scale cars. I also bought three 1/72 scale A4 Skyhawks in Blue Angels colors; two for display and one spare. Though not a model, I do not want to forget my Valentines Day present to myself, a 1:1 scale 2024 Nissan Z.

A couple of 1/43 buses to park with the Futurliner and 1/48 WW II trucks to compliment that B-25.

I added 48, and sold 35. My interests kind of turned around this year. I was kind of bored with my Corvettes, and really got into the 30’s and 40’s classic Fords.

@brush

Is your grandson a serious collector of 1/64 scale diecast model cars?

@ed-davis He has a couple hundred of them but most are the Hot Wheels $.99 variety.  The ones I gave him are the better quality scale models of actual cars, $5 to $15 cars.

I would have to venture a guess of somewhere around 50 models.  Looking around the room and what is still in boxes.

Gave away more than I added!  Every year I donate some as door prizes for our local car show!  This year I donated over 50 1/43rd scale!
