Yes, it's the one on the right. Yet, many folks remember it to be the one on the left as did I. This is not the only case of this phenomenon. Check out The Mandela Effect.
what say we start passing these out to all the winners before the requests become too overwhelming
@perrone1 The deer herd had laughed amongst themselves when the worker stupidly left the garden gate open at the Perrone farm......but moments later as they munched veggies vociferously the clicking of a rifle bolt broke the still of the night. Frozen in fear the doomed deer watched and as a red dot appeared on the chest of the horrifed head buck and a cackling voice cried out "Heeeere's Tony!" the herd realized they were attending their last supper.
Interesting read, John. Thanks. I have often felt that memories change with time and sometimes are perceived initially, differently. I notice this when talking with my two younger brothers about childhood events.

LOLOL! I need to print this out and frame it Jack!
@perrone1 .................there is an indefinable something about many of Jack`s passages that capture your attention in a way that seems effortless....this is one of those very well written passages
@john-barry I believe that "indefinable something" is the need for a certain amount of drivel in one's life.
and whom exactly were they?......they were the old men who would daily drivel their little cars,at the same time hurling veiled invectives at one another....................................always in text ....to be easier "heard"

Well.....all that aside, I still am adamant to the fact that BLACK shoes go with a blue suit - NOT brown....not back in the day, not today! (I wanna smack that little poser!)

@john-barry Good point Tony and thank you for getting this thread back on track. So to continue, with my bad back I prefer the slip on loafer....and of course in black....and throw in a 24 inch shoehorn!

you got all the makings of a decent noir flick there Jack.
...........Misty!...no one could quite handle a 24 inch shoehorn like she could.....when she played "fever", just the way she did, there was not a dry eye in the house you heard nothing but the wailings of that shoe appliance..........and the occasional deep base "woof" of big Jack, taxing another firm stretch from his Shaffer and Marx tooled leather belt, his Hell No shoes spit-shined until they cast a "spot" directly over Misty`s "stand here now" arrow
