I’m joining the not committing group also. I have not thought about Gilligan’s Island for years. Where are the ladies now?
I'm such a failure at this! I forget to put up the poll!! Go back and vote. John B, where are you???

Mary Ann more down to earth. Ginger is too glitzy, show business phony.

That is exactly why I don't post polls. Look where I put this.
Mary Anne ....no contest. Interesting that Lovey Howell isn't one of the choices. If she was ....welll.....it would be Mary Anne.
@frank You know....I never did trust that Professor.
could it be that they used the same scenery for the classic Star-Trek ?
must be from around the same time-frame ?
@joop No Joop...Gilligan's Island was definitely filmed on an island because their wrecked yacht was right there; plus there was lagoons and stuff.

Tina Louise (Ginger) is the only cast member left sadly.
@jack-dodds Actually it was filmed at the studio and they dug the lagoon on a back lot, there is one scene but I forget the episode where you could see the studio buildings in the back ground in a lagoon shot. There is a YouTube channel full of Gilligan's Island bloopers including a diver in one scene that was visible but you never noticed it when watching the show. Also the opening credits there are eight people on the SS Minnow so either they lost one overboard or that was just another shot they used and did not think about how many people were visible when they filmed it.
Back to the lagoon the actors complained a lot about the lagoon on the back lot because the water was cold and after a while became contaminated. They did drain the lagoon once to put fresh water in the lagoon.
