This has been bugging me for about 8 months! 😲 😲 😲
Have you noticed throughout SOCIAL MEDIA more and more are ending sentences with a SPACE, and THEN the punctuation symbol. For instance:
"I had a great time at that party!" ...is now "I had a great time at that party !" What the hell - why the space? Or, the sentence, "Did they drive the Genesis or the Buick?" ....morphs into "Did they drive the Genesis or the Buick ?" ....why the space?
***T like this makes a maniac out of me! 🤪 😠 😡
I haven't noticed but, yeah, that would bother me too. (That drives me mad also. The misuse of 'to' for 'too'.) And this makes me crazy; "I'll try and make it." Instead of, "I'll try TO make it." And, of course, "Where are you at?" Aargghh! How about, "Where are you?"
Really ? I never even noticed that trend creeping up on us ! But should we really be terribly concerned about it ? And have you nothing more important to worry about ?

Most populated areas are a bit too crowded anyway. We can all use a little more space .

@perrone1 Can't say that I have, but then I'm not much of a "social media" communicator. But seriously (if you'll forgive me being serious for a moment) I can't imagine that leaving a space before a punctuation mark has somehow become a conscious trend or meme or whatever in social communications? Maybe it's a strange side-effect of "swipe typing" on mobile devices?
Also seriously, if you look online for "try and" vs "try to" you'll find various authoritative sources explaining why both usages are equally valid in certain kinds of sentence. Try not too get to upset about it.

LOL! First, yeah, that is a fine explanation; I can't argue with it at all because I don't frequent any social media either. Your use of to and too in last sentence is a perfect descriptive!!
where you all be At ! Where are you?
