Street legal final rendition
My latest acquisition of the models I should have gotten years ago. This one is phenomenal, how did I exist without it so long. Check out the interior Geno, mucho primo, no?
These models are very nice (congrats! ).... the real thing is even better! 1959 Pontiacs influenced style, promotions, and marketing campaigns that lasted decades! I was always impressed with 1959 Pontiacs. 1960, however, was very disappointing.
Congrats! Awesome acquisition! First pic - WOW. A Psycho Poncho!
@chris I always have marveled at the drastic change *Pontiac design went through every year from '57 through '61. I agree that '60 was not a great look.
* GM design in general for that matter.
"I agree that '60 was not a great look."
Want proof of that? For 1961, Pontiac reverted back to 1959 styling cues - that speaks volumes. 😏 😏
@perrone1 No kidding! I'm cancelling my mushroom gathering group outing for this afternoon!
@100ford2003 That "general " comment was not intentional...honest. Btw Steve: I prefer the '60 Impala to the '59...lol (but love them both). 🙂
@perrone1 So much for Shitake Saturday!
Those are the shrooms that only grow in meadow muffins as I recall.....I avoid them.
@perrone1 I think these artistic renderings are from the Timothy Leary Automotive Design Institute.
If some here haven't lived near a pasture or grazing field they just might not know what they are. But come on...look at the spelling☺️
