Remarkable modeling construction on this exceptional Mercedes-Benz automobile ! Really nice results, too.
WOW! That's a master craftsman at work. Exceptional miniaturization on the beautiful 300SL!
Thanks for posting it Kevin!
There's about a dozen or so of "these guys" on YouTube that are NEXT LEVEL 1/24 - 1/25 model builders. He's one of the few that actually incorporated/ensured there was posable steering (I think the model came that way ).
Curiously, I've seen many who, despite extraordinary masterclass builds, neglect to fabricate posable steering. 🤔 🤔
This guy, and those others, do amazing things IN SCALE! As I've noted before.... I won 1st place in a HS model contest among two schools.... the quality of THAT model wouldn't even warrant an "honorable mention" when compared to what's being accomplished today - just incredible!
Great video Kevins, thanks! 😎 😎
@chris You're being too modest. On some of the builds you've shared, 'honorable mention' is far below your work - they're up in that master craft level as well.
@perrone1 That's sweet of you to say Tony, thank you..... but I know the truth! Plus, I'm very lazy! 🙄 😞 😖
I wish I had his skills. That is one wonderful build. The detailing is just amazing.
Mind blowing talent. I can't even reattach a mirror on a model without making a mess.
Well, thanks for posting that. Being personally blessed with two left hands, each equipped with five thumbs, seeing all those tiny parts neatly manufactured and perfectly positioned, with no bodging or desperate corrective measures required, was as depressing as it was fascinating.
Speaking as a wannabe boy modeller, it has just about eliminated my will to live.

That is extraordinary! Thanks Kevin. I'm just trying to imagine the amount of blood I would have lost trying to do what he did with the Exato knife
You stated exactly what I was thinking, I just couldn’t put it into words, both fascinating and deeply depressing. I’ve never seen such skill and patience! Back in the day when I was building models, it took me about two days to half-ass build a model, and then sit back and think about how cool it would have been if I hadn’t rushed it. This guy took FIVE months!

Wow, just mindblowing. I wish my decrepit old hands were that steady.😟
Not sure but I think he got the firing order wrong when placing the wires into the distributor....just kidding. I would have lost the plugs by now.
