I was doing so good, real proud of myself for a minute. I told myself I would limit a section to my favorite pre WWII Fords, pretty easy, right. Then someone adds a topic with really cool photos of a model that in my opinion is gorgeous…but…it’s not a FORD. Oh well, it falls right in the time period, and it’s a cool color I don’t have, so what the heck, I’ll get it. See how easily I can talk myself out of my self imposed limits! See how quickly you can spot the proverbial “turd in the punch bowl”.
Kevin the Chev looks right at home there!
Be wary of checking out the 1/43 Forum (and the 1/18 for that matter). Coincidentally it was Chav, who responded to my above putty query, who really go me started when he posted pics of this beautiful Spark Delage a couple of years ago.

This Spark Delage is a beauty and a favorite 1/43, so is the Chevy Confederate, which I am lucky to have in unusual color.
Yes Kevin, the Confederate looks perfect in the, now 'mix' of ear cars. The color was the big giveaway. That display is outstanding!!
Chav the red Confederate really shines!
Kevin, it's called addiction and you'll not get any help from those here on the forum. Each time we hook someone, it makes us feel better knowing we're not the only ones with a lack of self control. If it's any consulation, I have every model shown in your picture.
@chav The Confederate really doe’s look ultra cool in red Chav, love it! I definitely have an addictive personality, always have. I smoked myself into a stroke in 2017. I immediately stopped by going through a painful withdrawal, for me and also my wife. Luckily for me at least, there are a finite number of Mint models out there, and I really am happy where I’m at. I. even sold the 2 Wix models ( Cobra and GT40), in order to purchase the Chevy, they were really nice but they just didn’t fit in. I’m back on track.
@kevins Diecast addiction is a good addiction, can only hurt your wallet ... and your wife's mood sometimes (but most of the time she is happy if I am happy).
